"Pakito" Diaz, who in this tournament was sponsored by Poolmania, defeated in the final by a convincing Raul Hebles 7-2. A good game of "Pakito" was evident during the two days of competition in which excellently unfolded.
In the round of 1/8 "Pakito" defeated by 7-3 to Jose Castro, Pedro Simon Ephrem Diego Bustos by 7-2, Manuel Montejo Francisco Ramirez 7-5, David Arnaiz to David Simon for 7-5, Angel Marchena Toño Fazanes by a tight 7-6, Raúl Martín by an identical 7-6 Ivan Belmonte, Carlos Cabello Gindac Ciprián by 7-4 and finally beat Raul Hebles 7-2 to Jose Manuel Costa.
In the quarter-finals of the competition they faced "Pakito" and Angel Marchena, two of the three sponsored players in this tournament Poolmania next to David Marquez. The victory went to "Pakito" by 7-1. The rest of clashes ended with a 7-2 victory against Raul Hebles Gindac Ciprian, Manuel Montejo to David Arnaiz by 7-4 and Diego Simon by a tight 7-6 against Raul Martin.
The semifinals conveniently resolved to "Pakito" and Raul Diaz Hebles. The Malaga player defeated Diego Pedro Simon by 7-2, and by the same score over the showdown between Raul and Manuel Montejo Hebles with victory for the former.
