6 most dangerous enemies when playing billiards (2nd part)

Last post we saw the 6 billiard villains that make life impossible to a billiard player. Today we will discover that there are many more enemies. Ready to annihilate those billarist villains? Here we go.

1. Complaints

More than a villain, complaints are a virus. The more you deny, the more it goes off all over the body. And there comes a moment that is uncontrollable. Complaining, reneging or being angry for missing a ball or losing a game is a huge enemy. It keeps us in a state of negativity that influences our game and prevents us from performing to the maximum. Trick not to complain? All the champions fail, because failure is part of success.

2. Defeats

"Defeat is not an enemy, they are a bitch", you will say to yourself. And yes, you're right. But you have to know how to see the positive side of that bitch, that there always is. If for you to lose is a resounding failure or a major disaster, I'm sorry but there we have a great villain who will take pity on you in each championship (because, unless you are a super top, in each tournament you will lose at least once) . Defeats are clues that help us find a way to improve, they give us clues about what we are not doing well and therefore we have to correct. Defeats help us. Make friends with them.

3. The dynamics

I do not like the concept of luck. That's why I'm talking about dynamics, good and bad. The good dynamic is that you hit the serve ball in a pitching serve, the ball makes peak peak but fall, that the white is hanging by a thread in the pocket and a long etcetera of favorable situations. And the negative dynamics? Exactly the same, but the other way around. Sometimes we are on the crest of the wave (positive dynamics, everything goes in) and other times below it (negative dynamics, everything goes wrong). The trick is to enjoy the path in both, trying to extend the first to the maximum and cope very well the second.

4. Nerves

Everyone sees nerves as a great enemy, as something bad, something that hurts us because it alters us, causes us anxiety and makes us fail. Partly yes, but nerves can also be our best friend for several reasons:

    1. Being nervous about an unforeseen situation or pressure is completely normal
    2. Being nervous shows that what we do matters to us
    3. Being nervous puts us in a state of alert and super motivation that allows us to get the best version.

5. Waits

To manage the breaks and the waits between match and match is very difficult. So much, that they can be your great enemy. To not saturate yourself with billiards, it is best that after your game you leave the club where the championship is held to take the air or stretch your legs. A brief analysis of how was your last game, a little motivating music and when the next game arrives you will be more than motivated.

6. And the last one is, again ...

Oneself. Yes, complaints, defeats, dynamics, nerves and waiting are also enemies that depend on you and your attitude. Depending on how you manage these factors, the villains grow even more or, on the contrary (what interests us) become heroes who fight in your favor.

I hope that now it's easier for you to get rid of them :) If so, tell us your experience in the comments!
